We are thrilled to welcome you to Starwood Academy of Frisco! We look forward to an exciting year of learning, creating and growing together as a school community.
Starwood students share many traits: They have a passion for life and learning, have a strong sense of self and are looking to make a difference in the world. Our younger students bring joyful curiosity to both the classroom and the playground. Students in elementary and middle school are eager to explore new ideas and are driven by their own unique passions.
The information provided on this page will give you all the tools you need to start the year off successfully and prepare for a great school year at Starwood. Join us for a back-to-school event, connect with other parents and students and meet with our team members.

Back to School Events
Join us! Back-to-school events for currently enrolled families. Some events may require registration.
New Toddler Family Orientation
Thursday, August 4 & Friday, August 5
Monday, Aug. 1, families new to Starwood with toddlers will receive an introduction email from their guide. The email will include a link to register for an individual Zoom orientation on August 4 or 5.Guides use this time to create strong relationships with parents/guardians and answer specific questions you may have about your child to support a positive transition to school.
Orientation
Thursday, August 4
6 - 7 p.m.
Start the school year successfully! Parents and guardians of new and returning families of primary, elementary and middle school students are required to attend the orientation to:
• Understand how Starwood's curriculum transforms graduates into engaged learners, confident individuals and prepared achievers.
• Learn key features and processes for your child's classroom.
• Connect! You are a valuable part of the Starwood community.
Elementary and Middle School Snow Cone Social
Friday, August 5
2 – 2:30 p.m.
All Elementary and Middle School students and parents/guardians are invited to join us for a snow cone social. Come catch up with old friends and meet some new ones. We look forward to hearing about your summer!Open House
Friday, August 5
2:30 – 3:30 p.m.
All Starwood families are invited to our back-to-school open house event. Come and go as you please to see your child’s classroom, get to know your child’s guide and drop off any school items. We hope to see you there!Back to School Resources
