Helping children develop into well-rounded individuals includes introducing them to the world and its many cultures. In addition to the geography and cultural subjects discussed within the Montessori Curriculum, weekly Spanish classes are held that allow for further vocabulary and language development.

Spanish fosters interest and proficiency in a second language. Students learn basic vocabulary and syntax through oral and written activities, games, drama and peer teaching.

Children meet for one to two 30-minute sessions per week. The classes are taught in Spanish. Students focus on speaking, listening, reading, and writing. They play language games and develop positive attitudes toward another language and culture.
